First Roza

Roza Baglanova was born on January 1, 1922 in the Kazalinsky district of the Kyzylorda region. At birth, she received the name Urbibi, but the whole world became known as Roza. This name became legendary during the life of the artist. In honor of the singer, many began to call their daughters the beautiful name Roza. A prime example of this is the National Artist of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbaeva, who received her name in honor of Roza Tazhibaevna.

Roza Baglanova's love for music was instilled in early childhood. She developed her unique natural talent from an early age and knew that singing would be her true calling. However, the tragic events of the 30s and 40s of the twentieth century did not bypass the singer's family. After the death of her father, young Roza, having shown fortitude of spirit, becomes the sole breadwinner of the family.

When the family was going through taught times, in the 1940s, Roza Baglanova entered the textile institute of the city of Tashkent, where she could combine study and work at the same time. It was the city where the great creative path of Rosa Tazhibaevna began. She was a soloist of the State Women's Ensemble and Dance Ensemble of the Uzbek SSR. As part of this ensemble, 19-year old Roza Baglanova went to the front.
