In 2020, Kazakhstan’s largest concert organization, the State Concert Organization Qazaqconcert, celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Qazaqconcert was established on April 25, 1960, by Resolution No. 728 of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR. The early stages of the organization’s development were closely connected with the creative activities of outstanding artists whose names have been inscribed in golden letters in the history of Kazakh culture.

Throughout its history, Qazaqconcert has been home to many of the country’s most distinguished performers and cultural figures, including Shara Zhienkulova, Zhamal Omarova, Zhusipbek Yelebekov, Rabiga Yesimzhanova, Zhappas Kalambaev, Gulzhikhan Galiyeva, Garifolla Kurmangaliyev, Roza Baglanova, Magauiya Khamzin, Azidolla Yeskaliyev, Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev, Sultangali Shukirov, and Gulzhan Talpakova, whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the development of Kazakhstan’s national arts and culture.
