On August 25, 2026, at 8:00 PM, the Central Concert Hall of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova will host a concert by Kazakh accordionist Olzhas Nurlanov, winner of the First Prize at the 74th International “Coupe Mondiale” Competition, as part of the international competition “Coupe Mondiale 79.”

The evening’s program will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach, including the “Chaconne,” sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti, “The Lark” by Mikhail Glinka — arranged by Mily Balakirev, “La Campanella” by Niccolò Paganini — Franz Liszt — Ferruccio Busoni — Friedrich Lips, “The Smuggler” by Robert Schumann — Carl Tausig, “Vocalise” by Sergei Rachmaninoff, “Autumn Melody” by Alexander Kholminov, as well as “August” from Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons.”

A special part of the concert program will be dedicated to works by Kazakh composers. The audience will hear S. Abdinurov’s “Farab-Otyrar” and “Arystanbab,” as well as N. Mendiga’s “A Poem-Legend of the Dombra.”
