International vocal competition named after Roza Baglanova will be held in Astana.

The large-scale cultural event is aimed at popularization of creativity of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan and USSR, Halyk Kaharmany, legendary singer Roza Baglanova, revival, development of the best traditions and achievements of national and world culture and art, also at revealing and support of young vocalists.
The competition is held by the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The competition is held from July 1 to September 28, 2024 at the Qazaqconcert concert hall in Astana in 3 stages:
1) I round (qualifying) – from September 7 to September 17, 2024 in online format;
2) Round II - September 27, 2024 in offline format;
3) Final and Gala concert - September 28, 2024.

Applications for participation in the Competition are accepted from July 1 to September 6, 2024.

The Competition is attended by pop vocalists aged 18 to 35 years, participants in republican and international competitions, television vocal competitions, students of higher educational institutions in the field of culture and art from the Republic of Kazakhstan and countries near and far abroad.

To participate in the Competition, participants submit an Application in electronic form in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Rules with the following documents and materials attached (hereinafter referred to as the package of documents):
    - a scanned version of an identity document or passport in PDF format;
    - creative biography;
    - color photograph of the Competition participant measuring 13x18 centimeters (in JPEG format);
    - scanned version of a diploma of education;
    - scanned version of the laureate diploma (if available);
    - a scanned version of the certificate from the place of study (for students);
    - phonograms on CD (compact disc) and USB (flash drive) media;
    - video performance of songs from the repertoire of  Roza Baglanova in good quality
quality (Mp4 or H format).
Applications not drawn up in accordance with the form and (or) without attaching a package of documents provided for in this paragraph are not subject to consideration.

The following cash prizes are established in the Competition:
1) Grand Prix – 2,000,000 tenge (excluding individual income tax);
2) 1st place – 1,500,000 tenge (excluding individual income tax);
3) 2nd place – 1,000,000 tenge (excluding individual income tax);
4) 3rd place – 500,000 tenge (excluding individual income tax);

Cash prizes are paid to the winners of the Competition by transfer to their personal bank accounts.
The basis for the transfer of monetary rewards is the Jury protocol.
Incentives from legal entities and individuals acting as sponsors who independently determine the winners of their nominations are allowed.

Participants of the Competition in the first round (qualifying) perform 1 (one) song from the repertoire of Roza Baglanova, according to Appendix 2, and 1 (one) popular song from world hits.
Participants of the 2nd round of their choice perform 1 (one) song from the repertoire of  Roza Baglanova, according to Appendix 2 and 1 (one) song reflecting the cultural values and traditions of the country of the Competition participant in any musical genre, at the Gala concert they perform 1 (one) song from the repertoire of Roza Baglanova, according to Appendix 2, performed in the 2nd round.
Each song provided in the Competition for the 1st round (qualifying) and 2nd round is performed once.

Participants who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan independently obtain visas, insurance, consular fees in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of an official invitation from Qazaqconcert to participate in the Competition.
Accommodation, meals and internal transfer are provided at the expense of Qazaqconcert; transportation expenses of the Competition participants to the city of Astana and back are paid at the expense of the participants.
Air and train tickets to the city of Astana can be purchased only after agreement with Qazaqconcert.
