On June 21, 2026, the stage of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova hosted the theatrical concert program “A Journey into the World of Musicals,” dedicated to the closing of the season of the “ASTANA MUSICAL” State Theatre. The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The program consisted of four thematic sections, each distinguished by its own musical and theatrical aesthetics, creating a unified artistic storyline that immersed the audience in the fascinating world of musical theatre.

During the evening, excerpts from the Kazakh musicals “Dostar Serti,” “Roza Baglanova,” and “Aldar Kose” were performed, alongside masterpieces of world musical theatre such as “Moana,” “Mamma Mia,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Notre Dame de Paris,” “Aladdin,” “Memphis,” “Seasons of Love,” “Waitress,” and “Hamilton.”

The program also featured performances by the “GULDER” and “Birlik” ensembles, as well as students of the College of the Kazakh National University of Arts.

Once again, the “ASTANA MUSICAL” State Theatre showcased the richness and diversity of the musical theatre genre, leaving the audience with bright emotions, festive spirit, and unforgettable impressions.

It should be noted that on June 27, the festive concert “GALA: Folk Show,” dedicated to the closing of the 65th concert season of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova, will take place.
