DANGYRA is an ancient percussion-noisemaker instrument with a loud sound. This is round ring is skinned on one side, and rings and pendants are attached on the inside. Dangyra is an integral part of shamanistic traditions. There are several similar instruments with dangyra. For example, among the Chuvash – khangrma, the Altai and Kalmyks – dungurma, the Kirghiz and Tuvans – dungur, the Uzbeks – doira, at the Uigurs – dap.
