Today, the concert hall of the “Qazaqconcert” organization hosted a solo concert by renowned bayan player and winner of the 2021 Coupe Mondiale international competition Olzhas Nurlanov, as part of the 79th Coupe Mondiale Accordion Competition.

Holding a solo concert as part of an international competition is particularly significant. Olzhas Nurlanov is a musician whose professional mastery can serve as an example for participants of the 79th Coupe Mondiale Accordion Competition who have travelled from different parts of the world, as well as for young performers who are just beginning their journey in the art of bayan and accordion music. His victory at an international competition and his achievements on the world’s stages demonstrate that dedication and continuous artistic exploration lead to outstanding results. The concert therefore became an inspiring and meaningful evening, giving young musicians creative motivation and new perspectives for their professional development.

The evening, which brought together world classical music and national repertoire, showcased Olzhas Nurlanov’s high level of artistry and demonstrated the wide range of artistic and technical possibilities of the bayan.

It should be noted that today marks the second day of the 79th Coupe Mondiale Accordion Competition. This large-scale event is being held in Kazakhstan and Central Asia for the first time, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova. JSC Halyk Bank is the main sponsor of the project.
